Please note the requirement about a written test and medical armbands. Our region is reinstating a written test as a requirement for ALL our rallies for the remainder of 2008. Please let your club's competitors know this so they will be prepared! The test will be a short 14-16 questions, half of which will be questions taken from the Horse Management rule book and the remaining half will come from the discipline rule book. Each competitor needs to bring a clip board for the test.
The region will provide one armband to each pony clubber....but you have to attend a Rally to get one. If a competitor receives one armband at polocrosse and later attends Mega Rally, they will not receive another one. So remember to bring it with you to MegaRally. Each competitor will also need to bring an extra copy of their Medical Release Form with them (w/original signatures) to be folded/inserted into the armband sleeve. These armbands will be required at all times during competition hours.
The opening date for Polocrosse Rally is April 1. If a pony clubber plans to uprank and expect to compete in this rally at the new rating, the upranking must be successfully completed by March 31. Uprankings may be held after that date, but the pony clubber will have to attend this rally at the old rating level. (MidSouth Policy, page 13)
